VISION

With the objective of ensuring writers of all genres and ages are able to easily access publishing services, Poetree Publications’ vision is to revolutionise self-publishing, especially poetry, in South Africa, and how it is perceived by writers and the broader literature environment. 

MISSION

Ideally, the mission is to make a significant contribution to the amount of new and modern written works within the literature industry, seeing the stories and opinions of the writers of this era immortalised and preserved; as well as construct perpetual opportunities for freelancers of diverse categories, styles and subject matter. The main focus stems from the recognition that a lot of writers (specifically those who have limited access to literature facilities) never publish any of their work, mostly because they are not exposed to such opportunities or the publishing process is a difficult and tedious one – almost always leading to the decision to give up on the dream of getting their work into the market. For this reason, the goal is to facilitate writers of all genres in their endeavour to have their writing published and circulated in major book markets, assisting in the process and operation; allowing possibilities of growth in a sector which is generally presumed impenetrable.  

GOAL

Poetree Publications not only aims to publish the written works of this modern society, but also design an innovative medium of presenting literature to all demographic groups. The goal is to forge continuous platforms for enrichment, produce quality products eligible for sophisticated markets, initiate possible fulltime or independent writing careers, and make valuable contributions to the industry as well as the community
