The magic, the madness and the loss is a debut poetry collection by queer writer and filmmaker Jessica Denyschen. It is a cartography of the emotional landscape shared between two women over the course of 4 years. The non-linear nature of this tumultuous relationship whips the reader from the magic of desire and connection, to asphyxiating anxiety and despair in a relentless search for truth.
